‘blue print’ is more or less an extended version of ‘group portrait’ and ‘self portrait’ in 2011, a series of composition by placing personal object and collection. ‘self portrait’ tried to compose the image of myself only with collection of abstract objects, on the other hand ‘blue print’ tries to define the blue color in non-subjective tone with eight different self-portraits. not necessarily to mention that blue has biggest proportion of my wardrobe, the color means ‘default’ or ‘non-existence’ in technology. for instance, the notorious blue screen alarms the systematic error and the blue color in blueprint has been a popular method in technical drawing with economical and stable reasons. in addition the blue color in choma key represents the emptiness as background. though the ‘blues’ in my wardrobe has slightly different colors and textures and maybe they are far different from the blue in technological idea, the meaning of blue shares the idea with this project. the eight images printed in sixteen pages booklet without binding allows various composition by re-ordering the pages.
