imaginary communication
‘imaginary communication’ is a workshop organized by ecal (univ. of art and design lausanne), switzerland. in this workshop, participants were assigned several experiments on the ways of communication with posters under an imaginary situation. the communication in this workshop was focused on citizens of gwang-ju, south korea in 1980. 3 regulations of obstruction for the making-poster defined by participants to bring self-experiences to connect the unexperienced happening in unknown city. in the process, the obstructions were switched with each groups to experience unexpected tools for making final output. the posters, the results of this workshop was presented in an exhibition, ‘be awake! commanding officers!’ in seoul, 2010.
