the workshop, ‘walls paper’ was organized by anu vahtra and myself in seoul. the goal of this workshop was to create a poster of site-specific nature using photography, the given space and other elements that were necessary for communicating a message. as a starting point each participant brought a text which describes a scene, a happening or an idea. the content of this text should be translated into a photograph, composed on a specific spot at antharacite. graphic elements characteristic to the chosen text were represented photographically. the final result were presented as a single photograph in a poster format. during the 3 days participants investigated the border between the second and the third dimension and get an insight into visual interpretation and site-specificity.
